Sydney Lopes

Sydney Lopes represents employers in a broad range of employment litigation matters, including claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes, including complex wage and hour class actions. She works closely with clients to build litigation strategies that minimize risk and position them for favorable resolutions, whether through negotiated settlements, dispositive motions, or trial. She has experience litigating complex employment claims through discovery and other pretrial stages in both state and federal court, and jury trial experience in state court. She also has experience in arbitration and other administrative proceedings. Sydney is also at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence into litigation practice, using AI-driven tools to sharpen case strategy, streamline discovery, and enhance efficiency throughout the litigation lifecycle.

Beyond her litigation work, Sydney maintains an active labor practice, representing employers in collective bargaining negotiations and labor arbitrations.

In addition to her work with the Labor & Employment practice group, Sydney is committed to pro bono work and has contributed to matters involving voter access, asylum, and employment issues faced by non-profit organizations.
