Sydney Lopes is an associate in the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group. Her work focuses on representing employers in a range of employment litigation matters, including claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour issues. She has experience supporting trial teams through various stages of litigation in both state and federal court and has experience in arbitration and administrative proceedings. In addition to her litigation practice, Sydney advises employers on federal and state compliance issues, including worker classification, discipline, reductions in force, hirings/separations, accommodation requests, and personnel policies. Sydney also maintains an active labor practice, representing employers throughout collective bargaining negotiations and labor arbitrations.

In addition to her work with the Labor & Employment practice group, Sydney is committed to pro bono work and has contributed to matters involving voter access, asylum, and employment issues faced by non-profit organizations.
