Roger Maeda serves as the Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer for Arnold & Porter. He is responsible for guiding the firm's AI strategy and leading its dedicated AI Engineering team, partnering with leaders across the firm to build, implement, and enable enterprise-grade AI-powered solutions that enhance how the firm serves its clients and supports its people.
Roger brings more than fifteen years of progressive technology leadership across the legal, real estate, and financial services sectors, combining deep technical knowledge with an inside understanding of how the firm's lawyers and clients operate. His work centers around translating emerging technologies into practical solutions that empower the firm’s lawyers and business professionals while retaining the quality, judgment, and refinement that our clients expect.
In pursuit of this goal, Roger collaborates closely with Michael Folkes, Chief Information Officer, who oversees the firm’s core technology platforms and enterprise systems, and Lauren Giordani, Chief Practice Innovation Officer, who leads the firm’s innovation strategy to enhance client service.
Before assuming this role, Roger served as Director of Enterprise Applications and Application Development at Arnold & Porter, leading the firm's enterprise application strategy and software development initiatives. He previously held technology leadership positions at a leading real estate corporation, an Am Law 100 firm, and an international corporate and investment bank.
