Sharis Manokian’s practice focuses on litigation on a wide range of employment matters in state and federal court. She has experience representing employers in matters involving discrimination, harassment (including sexual harassment and assault), wrongful termination, retaliation, and state law torts. Sharis has represented clients across various industries, including medical, technology, and real estate development. She also maintains a robust pro bono practice, with a focus on civil rights.

Sharis graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was elected Vice President of the Broun National Trial Team, served as an articles editor for the North Carolina Law Review, and published an article entitled "One Free Rape: The Consequences of the Post-Notice Approach to Title IX’s Deliberate Indifference Requirement." While in law school, she externed at the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Eastern District of North Carolina and participated in the Supreme Court Program, working on the merits briefs in McElrath v. Georgia.
