Aaron E. Millstein

Aaron Millstein is a partner in the firm's Complex Litigation group, with a focus on complex commercial litigation across state and federal courts and government enforcement matters. Aaron frequently represents clients facing civil litigation that runs alongside a parallel government investigation or proceeding, civil or criminal. With a focus on healthcare, Aaron represents clients in class actions, trials, and state AG enforcement actions. He defends clients in commercial litigation and arbitration, consumer fraud disputes, data privacy disputes, and regulatory proceedings across multiple states. Beyond healthcare litigation, Aaron's experience includes commercial disputes, trade secrets, campaign finance, and real property.

For government investigations, he regularly guides clients through every step of a government inquiry, from receipt of a subpoena through negotiated resolution or litigation, and has conducted numerous internal investigations on behalf of corporate clients addressing potential legal or ethical violations including conflicts of interest, fraud, and theft.

A dedicated advocate for pro bono work, Aaron has represented domestic violence survivors in obtaining protective orders and on appeal, giving vulnerable clients access to legal protection when they need it most. He has worked on civil rights litigation on behalf of individuals and advocacy organizations, and matters supporting disabled veterans navigating service-related compliance issues.
