Leah Novak represents clients in complex civil litigation in state and federal courts, with a focus on mass tort, environmental, and product liability matters. Her experience includes representing clients in personal injury class actions and in lawsuits brought by state and local governments and private actors who assert claims for public nuisance, consumer deception, greenwashing, climate change-related impacts, coastal land loss, and environmental contamination. Leah has represented clients throughout all phases of litigation including fact and expert discovery, motion practice, settlement, and trial. Leah also maintains an active pro bono practice centered on civil liberties and criminal exoneration cases.
From 2019 to 2020, Leah served as a law clerk to Judge Joseph A. Greenaway, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. From 2020 to 2021, Leah served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paul G. Gardephe of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Leah graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she was the editor-in-chief of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review.
