Purti Pareek’s practice focuses on complex and commercial litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels. She drafts and argues dispositive motions and appellate briefs in federal and state courts around the country. She has worked on cases at the petition and merits stages at the U.S. Supreme Court. Purti maintains an active pro bono practice with a focus on indigent defense, civil/constitutional rights, and reproductive justice. Purti joined Arnold & Porter from another leading Appellate & Supreme Court litigation practice.
Previously, Purti clerked for Judges Joseph A. Greenaway, Jr. on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Arenda L. Wright Allen on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Purti graduated from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law where she was a Marshall Brennan Constitutional Law fellow and served as an Articles Editor on the Washington University Law Review.
