James K. Rideout's practice includes representing clients involved in a variety of government investigations and commercial disputes in federal and state trial courts. Mr. Rideout's practice focuses on discovery aspects of commercial litigation, including initial fact finding, formal discovery, e-discovery, trial preparation, and appellate review.

Mr. Rideout was part of several trial and appellate teams that litigated Winstar-related matters against the United States in the US Court of Federal Claims and US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Rideout also has experience representing clients in government and internal investigations related to antitrust, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and other matters involving the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Trade Commission, and the US Department of Justice.

Mr. Rideout earned his JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his BA in Psychology from Morehouse College.
