Jonathan Swisher is an experienced IP litigator who has represented industry-leading technology clients in patent infringement and other types of complex disputes, with successful results and trial victories in U.S. federal courts and before the U.S. International Trade Commission.
Jonathan represents clients across a wide range of industries, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical diagnostics, biofuels, and DNA-related technologies, complex scientific instruments and medical devices, software, computer hardware and processors, electronic and wireless devices, and data security. In addition to patent infringement, his practice includes disputes involving copyrights and trade secrets, IP licensing and royalties, economic damages, and inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Jonathan is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he served as an Editor for the Journal of Constitutional Law, and a graduate of Northwestern University, where he received a B.S. in biomedical engineering. Prior to his legal career, he was a management consultant for the health care technology and hospital industries.
