Pallavi Mehta Wahi

Pallavi Mehta Wahi is a partner in Arnold & Porter's Complex Litigation group, head of the firm's Seattle office, chair of Western U.S. Strategic Growth, and lead of the firm's India Practice. One of the most recognized lawyers in the Pacific Northwest, she has been named among Lawdragon's "500 Leading Lawyers in America," listed among Seattle Magazine's "Most Influential People," and named to the Puget Sound Business Journal's "Power 100."

A Chambers USA-ranked litigator described by clients as "a brilliant lawyer" and "an unbelievable businessperson," Pallavi represents national and international clients in complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on corporate and healthcare disputes. She has appeared before a wide range of courts and tribunals at hearings and at trial, and has managed high-stakes, high-volume litigation across multiple jurisdictions and parties. She has prevailed on summary judgment in a multi-million-dollar breach of contract matter that settled on the eve of trial; secured dismissal of key claims in a multi-million-dollar product lawsuit, shielding a client and its foreign affiliates from liability; and served as primary litigation counsel for a national healthcare system across class actions, commercial arbitrations, data privacy disputes, and regulatory proceedings nationwide. In recognition of her many contributions to the legal profession, Pallavi was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) degree from Seattle University School of Law on May 16, 2026.

Prior to joining Arnold & Porter, Pallavi spent more than 18 years at an international law firm, where her leadership roles included membership on the Firmwide Management Committee, Co-U.S. Managing Partner, head of the Seattle office, and co-chair of the firm's India practice.

Pallavi is a committed community advocate whose civic leadership spans finance, commerce, and the arts. She currently serves as Deputy Chair of the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and is the incoming Chair of the Board. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, where she previously served as Board Chair. Her past board service includes the Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle Rep, the King County Bar Foundation, and the South Asian Bar Association of Washington, where she was the first woman to serve as President.
