Liability Protections for Medical Products Used for Anti-Terrorism Purposes

Recently, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued an interim final rule implementing a new U.S. law that significantly limits the third-party tort liability of sellers of anti-terrorism products, including drugs, diagnostics, vaccines, and other medical products. With the rule's publication, sellers of medical products may now apply for the protections available under the statute.
