Arnold & Porter’s Environmental Practice Welcomes Judah Prero

Arnold & Porter announced today that Judah Prero, former Assistant General Counsel at the American Chemistry Council, has joined the firm’s Environmental practice as counsel, resident in Washington, DC.

Mr. Prero serves as legal and policy counsel to clients in the chemical industry on environmental, health, and safety issues before legislators, regulators, and State Attorneys General. He advises on chemical management laws and regulations, including laws under the jurisdiction of the Environmental Protection Agency, the Consumer Products Safety Commission, and the Department of Homeland Security, as well as state and local governments. Earlier in his career, Mr. Prero spent nearly a decade at the New York City Department of Environmental Protection. He also has served as Assistant Maryland State Attorney General for the Maryland Department of the Environment.

Mr. Prero earned his JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he served as Editor of the Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law. He earned his BA from Marquette University.
