Jay Waks Addresses Finance Industry Lawyers

Jay Waks, Partner in the Litigation Department of the New York office and Chair of the Employment & Labor Law practice, was a commentator in the roundtable discussion of the “New Whistleblower Protections Applicable to Stimulus Act Fund Recipients,” at the annual meeting on the National Finance Industry Employment Law Conference, in Washington, DC, on June 5, 2009.  Jay also spoke on the subjects of the standards for liability and damages in litigation under the New York City Human Rights Law and on recent developments in the application of external law to labor and employment arbitration. Jay has been appointed a member of the NFIELC’s task force to develop standards for corporate compensation for companies receiving Stimulus Act assistance or other federal funds.
