Good Day, Sunshine: Key Components and Implications of the Final Rule Implementing the Physician Payment Sunshine Act

We will discuss key topics covered by the Final Rule, including its provisions relating to foreign affiliates and commonly-owned entities; research payments; indirect payments; and meals and educational items.  We will also summarize provisions of potential interest to providers, including the procedures through which covered entities may dispute manufacturer reports of payments.   More broadly, we will offer perspectives on the implications of the Final Rule for manufacturers, the provider community, the government and consumers.   We will reserve time for Q&A at the end of the presentation and welcome questions from attendees.
