The FDA's Upcoming Trans Fat Ban: Prelude to More Food Industry Litigation?

FDA has issued a Federal Register notice with a tentative determination that partially hydrogenated oils (PHOs) - the primary dietary source of trans fats - are no longer "generally recognized as safe," or GRAS, for any use in food. This webinar will assist food manufacturers, food retailers, and restaurants in preparing for potential new or expanded litigation should FDA issue its likely final decision to ban industrially-produced trans fats in foods.
