Partner Daniel Hartnett spoke on a panel at PLI’s Commercial Real Estate Financing seminar on March 20th, where he discussed the state of the commercial real estate market, who’s lending where, loan terms, and the use of multiple lender structures.
The two-day seminar brought together commercial real estate attorneys, executives, in-house counsel, investment bankers and asset managers, among others. The seminar focused on the use of multiple lenders and nontraditional lenders, new deal structures including joint ventures as a financing option, the impact of CMBS 2.0 on real estate finance, problems to watch for in today’s transactions, and predictions about commercial real estate financing in the next cycle.
