Corruption in Russia: Executive, Judiciary and Legislative

This informative panel discussion features legal experts with firsthand experience in dealing with practical business problems resulting from corrupt practices in Russia and the legislation intended to deal with such problems. Consisting of both Russian and American law professors and legal practitioners, the speakers address the history of corruption in Russia and the Former Soviet Union, and the current status of the Russian Anti-Corruption Law and the new Russian Anti-Corruption Agency. The discussion highlights business concerns of corporate and legal advisors inside and outside of Russia in dealing with both the new Russian legislation as well as the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act. The seminar concludes with a panel discussion and a Q & A session.
