The incoming Trump administration and secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services nominee Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. have signaled a desire to rethink or modify large areas of food and other FDA-regulated consumer products regulation. Although they have not announced concrete plans, changes could impact food ingredients, additives, and permissible claims for FDA-regulated consumer products, as well as structural and personnel changes. In this webinar, we will explore what these changes could be, what the processes would be if the government sought to implement the changes, and what companies can do to prepare. We will also examine how these changes might affect transactions and diligence in these areas.
