Castellano Quoted in Bloomberg Law on Agency Use of Noncompetitive Contracts

Government Contracts and National Security associate Nathaniel Castellano was quoted in a recent article from Bloomberg Law, "Covid-19 Contracts Worth $18 Billion Largely Noncompetitive." The article examines a report from the Government Accountability Office that approximately 53% of federal contracts issued in response to COVID-19 were awarded without competition. Castellano notes that this competition rate aligns with Department of Defense norms even before the COVID-19 response.
