December 2, 2021

Arnold & Porter’s Environmental practice was featured in a recent Inside EPA article recapping events at Law Seminars International’s conference, “Climate Change: Policy, Law, and Science.”

The publication also highlighted senior counsel Michael Gerrard’s panel, “Renewing the Debate: Special Challenges When Permitting Wind, Solar, and CCS.” Gerrard, who is the Director of the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law at Columbia Law School, discussed how environmental review processes can be adjusted to aid wind and solar energy permitting processes.

Arnold & Porter Environmental group chair Brian Israel, along with Gerrard, acted as program co-chairs for the conference. Arnold & Porter co-sponsored the conference.
