Geverola Quoted in Bloomberg Law on Increase in DOJ Trial Attorney Hiring

Antitrust partner Andre Geverola was quoted in the Bloomberg Law article, “Looming Tough Antitrust Enforcement Spurs DOJ Hiring Binge.” Due to the rising number of merger and conduct investigations and its more aggressive litigation approach, the Department of Justice (DOJ) Antitrust Division is growing its team, recently hiring five partners and over a dozen other attorneys from big law firms. Geverola told Bloomberg Law that “it’s unprecedented for the division to hire so many senior-level litigators from outside, and the hiring surge may corroborate the rumors that DOJ is ramping up to file major new cases.”
