Green Quoted in Bloomberg Law on ABB Bribery Case

Partner Jonathan Green, co-chair of the firm’s Anti-Corruption practice, was quoted in the recent Bloomberg Law article, “ABB Bribe Scheme in South Africa Nearly Collapsed Over Division of Loot, US Says.” The article discusses the $315 million criminal penalty the Swiss industrial firm ABB Ltd. agreed to pay related to a bribery scheme and the evolving United States policy toward companies that repeatedly break the law.

Green commented on the involvement of other companies, saying the US government needs the assistance of companies in order to successfully detect and investigate foreign bribery and corporate misconduct.
