Norberg Quoted in The Wall Street Journal on AML Whistleblower Program Updates

Securities Enforcement Litigation partner Jane Norberg was quoted in The Wall Street Journal article, “Lawyers Expect More Anti-Money-Laundering Whistleblowers Thanks to Legislation.” The article discusses the changes to the Treasury Department’s anti-money laundering whistleblower program, which is expected to increase the number of whistleblower cases.

Norberg told The Wall Street Journal that the improvements to the AML program align it with the SEC’s highly successful whistleblowing program. As a result, “it’s time for banks and others subject to this legislation to sit up and pay attention, because this will be impactful,” she said.
