Geverola Quoted in Global Competition Review on Anticompetitive Bid Case

Antitrust partner Andre Geverola was quoted in the Global Competition Review article, “Ex-NYC transit worker admits to defrauding city bids.” The article discusses the guilty plea of a former New York City transit worker for wire fraud affecting the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
Geverola noted that this case shows that the DOJ Procurement Collusion Strike Force is keeping its promise to “go after fraud cases that could harm competition in the bidding process.”
