Lula’s recent comments about the Russia-Ukraine war, where he asserted that both sides are responsible for the conflict, have worried his U.S. and European allies. “The whole Russia-Ukraine issue was a lesson learned," Shannon told Reuters, adding that there have been “some bruising moments” in Lula’s return thus far.
