Arnold & Porter Elects Six New Counsel
Washington, D.C., March 3, 2005 — The international law firm of Arnold & Porter LLP has elected six new counsel, all of whom were formerly associates. Practice areas represented by the group include pharmaceutical, food and medical technology; litigation; telecommunications; and tax and estates. All positions were effective March 1, 2005.
The associates who have been elected counsel are:
Kathleen Fadden, a member of the pharmaceutical, food and medical technology group. She has an LL.B. from the University of East London and Ph.D. in biochemistry from Liverpool John Moore University. She is resident in the firm’s London office.
Nelson D. Johnson, a member of the environmental and litigation groups. He has a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a Ph.D. in molecular biology from the California Institute of Technology. He is resident in the firm’s New York office.
Randall K. Miller, a member of the litigation group. He has a J.D. from George Washington University Law School. He is resident in the Washington, D.C., office.
Douglas S. Pelley, a member of the tax and estates group. He has a J.D. from Cornell Law School. He is resident in the Washington, D.C., office.
David A. Vogel, a member of the litigation and telecommunications groups. He has a J.D. from Stanford Law School. He is resident in the Northern Virginia office (McLean, Virginia).
Adela Williams, a member of the pharmaceutical, food and medical technology group. She has an M.B. Ch.B. from Bristol University and qualified as a solicitor at the College of Law, London. She is resident in the London office.
