The London Office of Arnold & Porter Retained by the Management & Standards Committee (MSC) of News Corporation
London, July 29, 2011 -- The London office of Arnold & Porter has been retained by the Management & Standards Committee (MSC) of News Corporation to assist in relation to the News of the World phone hacking case, police payments investigation and other relevant connected issues at News International. Kathleen Harris is the lead partner.
Ms. Harris is in Arnold & Porter's white collar criminal defense practice group. Before joining Arnold & Porter in London, Ms. Harris served as head of the Fraud Business Group at the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), Senior Strategic Policy Adviser in the Attorney General's Office, and held positions in HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) and the Department of Works and Pensions in the United Kingdom.
