Arnold & Porter's London Office Ranks High In Diversity League Table
January 2012 -- Arnold & Porter's London office scored amongst the highest ranking firms in an important category in the Diversity League Table in London and had a strong showing overall. 11.76 percent of the office's partners are ethnic minorities, ranking it second amongst 44 leading law firms in London.
In addition to its strong showing in the ranking of ethnic minority partners, Arnold & Porter's London office ranked first in the number of female trainees. It also ranked in the first quartile in the number of female partners and had a strong showing in the number of female paralegals.
The Diversity League Table is sponsored by the Black Solicitors' Network and supported by the Law Society of England and Wales and the Bar Council. It consists of an annual voluntary survey and analysis of ethnicity and gender diversity in law offices as well as an analysis of the representation of disabled, lesbian, gay and bisexual employees in firms.
The London office has shown its commitment to diversity by participating in the Diversity League Table every year since 2007 and has been ranked first in 2009 and third in 2010 amongst international firms.
