Arnold & Porter Among Yale Law Women's Top Ten Family Friendly Firms for Seventh Consecutive Year
Washington, D.C., April 18, 2013 -- Arnold & Porter LLP has been included in the Yale Law Women’s 2013 Top Ten Family Friendly Firms List. The Report cites the Firm’s demonstrated “leadership in developing and implementing family friendly practices and policies.” It is the seventh consecutive year Arnold & Porter has been included in the closely-watched YLW report.
The Yale Law Women Initiative’s annual Top Ten Family Firms report is based on detailed survey questions with an eye toward raising “awareness of gender disparities within the legal profession as well as to highlight progress and innovative solutions.”
In addition to its Top Ten list, YLW also recognized surveyed firms who “performed at outstanding levels on specific aspects that YLS alumni have rated as particularly important,” said Allison Turbiville, Communications Chair of the 2013 YLW Top Ten Family Friendly Firms Initiative. Arnold & Porter, she noted, was specially recognized by the YLW this year for its “Superior Performance in Overall Support of Part-Time/Flex-Time Use”. The firm was also listed among those offering 16 or more weeks of paid childcare leave to primary caregivers and offering on-site or backup service childcare.
