Arnold & Porter Recognized in 2013 Law360 MVP Awards

November 13, 2013

Law360 recently named three Arnold & Porter partners to its 2013 MVP list for their "exemplary work" on litigation or transactions that had a special impact on clients, the business community and the profession.  The three partners recognized are Lisa Blatt, who argued and won three Supreme Court cases this year on cases ranging from Indian adoption law, to state water rights, and to civil procedure; Robert Azarow, who oversaw the sale of substantially all the assets of Aurora Bank, the wholly owned non-debtor subsidiary of bankrupt Lehman Brothers, in 9 separate transactions without loss or cost to the FDIC or taxpayers; and Robert Garrett, who obtained significant wins in closely-watched copyright litigation on behalf of several major broadcast networks, motion picture studios, and sports leagues.

A group of Law360 editors reviewed hundreds of submissions from the top law firms in the world, ultimately settling on 138 MVPs from 26 practice areas for their exceptional work between October 2012 and October 2013.
