Litigator Hilton Mervis Joins Arnold & Porter's London Office

LONDON, April 20, 2016 -- Arnold & Porter LLP announced today that commercial litigator Hilton Mervis has joined the firm as a partner, resident in its London office. He joins the firm as head of European Commercial Dispute Resolution and will focus on large scale complex international and domestic commercial disputes, as well as matters involving regulatory disputes and investigations.  In a career that spans more than 25 years, Mr. Mervis has acted on behalf of a wide range of clients including leading financial institutions and private equity and hedge funds.

In addition to his trial, investigatory and counseling matters, Mr. Mervis’ extensive experience includes alternative dispute and appellate work.  

Mr. Mervis has been recognised in prominent independent legal directories, Chambers (UK) and Europe and Legal 500, as a leader in his field in both the commercial litigation and civil fraud areas. He is a member of the International Bar Association, member of the Commercial Court Users Committee, and a founding member and Chair of the Commercial Litigators Forum.  Mr. Mervis obtained an LLB with honors from University College London.
