Kaye Scholer Welcomes High School Students from Catalyst Network Foundation’s Summer Intensive Program

Catalyst Network Foundation—Summer Intensive Program

In partnership with the Catalyst Network Foundation (CNF), the Association of Black and Latino Attorneys at Kaye Scholer hosted a corporate tour for high school students in the Foundation's Summer Intensive Program within the firm’s New York office on July 29, 2016.  Associates Sharon Obialo and William Madden met with the students before the tour to get to know them and find out about their interests, and following a tour led by George Silva, several attorneys and staff joined the students for an intimate reception in the Café area.

Students expressed that the program exposed them to jobs they “never knew existed” and introduced them to professionals who shared personal insights about the trajectory into their current positions. One student explained that the program gives the students a “real advantage” by granting them in-depth exposure to the potential careers available to them.

Students particularly appreciated the interior design of Kaye Scholer’s New York office, which they said made them feel "important." They also enjoyed the Moot Courtroom and the conference rooms, which they thought were vast and well-designed.
