Tax Lawyer William J. Needle Rejoins Arnold & Porter's San Francisco Office

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, September 27, 2016 -- Arnold & Porter LLP announced today that Will Needle has rejoined the firm as counsel. Resident in San Francisco, Mr. Needle will be engaged in a broad-based practice involving all aspects of federal taxation.

During a legal career that includes 18 years of private practice, Mr. Needle has represented clients on transactional tax issues in the US and abroad. At Arnold & Porter, he will focus on international tax and estate planning for high net worth individuals, including advising on inbound and outbound investments, family wealth preservation, succession planning, tax information reporting and compliance in a cross-border context, and pre-immigration and expatriation tax planning.

Mr. Needle earned a B.A. in Philosophy, summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He obtained his J.D. from Stanford Law School and was a member of the Order of the Coif and managing editor of the Stanford Law & Policy Review.
