Arnold & Porter, Koolyk Recognized at Legal Aid Society 2018 Pro Bono Publico Awards

On October 16, 2018, Arnold & Porter was recognized at The Legal Aid Society's 2018 Pro Bono Publico Awards ceremony. Product Liability Litigation counsel Reuben S. Koolyk received a separate individual award for his outstanding public service.

The annual Pro Bono Publico Awards ceremony spotlights law firms and attorneys that have invested their time and resources in conjunction with the Legal Aid Society. This year, the firm was recognized for its continuing support and outstanding contributions in its partnership with The Legal Aid Society to further the cause of equal access to justice for all New Yorkers. Koolyk was singled out for innovative pro bono assistance to The Legal Aid Society and its clients through his work on behalf of low-income disabled individuals who have been denied Supplemental Security Income, a Federal needs-based program.
