O'Neill, Pierson, Louer, and Weekes Named to The Hill's 'Top Lobbyists 2018: Hired Guns' List

December 14, 2018

Arnold & Porter's Kevin O’Neill, Eugenia Pierson, Greg Louer, and Dana Weekes were named to The Hill's "Top Lobbyists 2018: Hired Guns" list. The annual list compiles "the most distinguished and accomplished professionals from the influence world who are on the front lines of the nation's most consequential political and policy battles." While there are more than 11,000 registered lobbyists in Washington, The Hill recognizes only about 175 lobbyists who work for law firms and lobby shops.

The Hill's Top Lobbyists 2018

Arnold & Porter is one of just four law firms with more than three lobbyists named to the list, and one of just two law firms with two female lobbyists named to the list. Kevin O'Neill, who co-heads the firm's Legislative and Public Policy practice, has been named to the list six years in a row; Senior Health Policy Advisor Eugenia Pierson, who leads the group's work in healthcare and life sciences, has been named to the list four years in a row. Greg Louer, who works largely on technology, environmental, energy, and trade issues, and Dana Weekes, who works on education, government contracts, technology, and food/agriculture policy issues, were recognized for the first time this year. All four of the firm's ranked lobbyists are significantly younger than the other ranked multi-lobbyist teams from top law firms; Pierson, Louer, and Weekes are among the youngest recognized.
