Arnold & Porter Welcomes Litigator John F. Hagan, Jr. to Chicago Office
CHICAGO, February 11, 2019 — Arnold & Porter announced today that John Hagan has joined the firm as a partner in the Litigation group. He will be resident in the Chicago office.
An experienced trial attorney, Mr. Hagan has a broad-based litigation practice that includes general commercial, class actions, bankruptcy, product liability, toxic tort, antitrust, and intellectual property litigation. He has served as lead trial counsel for Fortune 100 companies and smaller entities alike, appearing in state and federal courts throughout the country, as well as in arbitration proceedings. Mr. Hagan has represented clients across a range of industries, including financial services, media and entertainment, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, aerospace and defense, and insurance.

John has also developed a unique proficiency for prosecuting and, if necessary, trying various breach of contract and breach of warranty cases arising under Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code that frequently involve the introduction of complex engineering-related evidence.

Mr. Hagan earned his JD from New York University School of Law and his BA from the University of Chicago, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
