Arnold & Porter Receives Honorable Mention for American Lawyer's 2019 Litigation Department of the Year

Arnold & Porter received an Honorable Mention in The American Lawyer's 2019 Litigation Department of the Year report. According to The American Lawyer, the 11 firms with this distinction "delivered reliable results" and broke "new ground when their clients needed it most" in a variety of industries requiring profound litigation experience.

The American Lawyer notes that Arnold & Porter secured victories in multiple "headline-grabbing cases," including a redistricting lawsuit before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, a successful challenge to the US government's attempt to add a citizenship question to the 2020 census, and a complicated patent dispute for longtime client Boston Scientific.

In October 2019, The American Lawyer selected Arnold & Porter as a Finalist for its "Product Liability Department of the Year," which recognizes firms that are "at the core of industry-changing matters, leading the charge on their clients' most important cases and operating at a level that sets them apart from their peers."
