Arnold & Porter Wins at 2020 GIR Awards for Leading Role in Airbus Case

Arnold & Porter's work on behalf of Airbus in its agreement with US, French and UK authorities received the "Most Important Development of the Year Award" from Global Investigations Review's 2020 GIR Awards. The sixth annual awards commended the work of "the investigations lawyers and practices that have impressed most in the past year" during a virtual ceremony on October 22, 2020.

Global Investigations Review highlighted the "record-breaking" Airbus case for setting a "new high watermark for international cooperation" due to the firm's work resolving investigations by the French Parquet National Financier (PNF), the UK Serious Fraud Office (SFO), the US Department of Justice (DoJ), and the US Department of State (DoS). This is the first publicly documented case where such authorities "coordinated their investigations and subsequent resolutions."
