Arnold & Porter Welcomes Andy Colón as Chief Legal Talent Officer
WASHINGTON, DC, September 27, 2021 — Arnold & Porter announced today that Andy Colón has joined the firm as Chief Legal Talent Officer, resident in Washington, DC. Mr. Colón brings more than 25 years of experience in the legal industry.

As Arnold & Porter’s Chief Legal Talent Officer, Mr. Colón will have strategic oversight of recruiting and development initiatives that encompass all aspects of the ongoing Associate experience. He will also manage effective departmental operations, promoting an atmosphere of continuous collaboration and teamwork.

Prior to joining Arnold & Porter, Mr. Colón served as Chief Talent Officer and Director of Legal Recruiting and Development at Am Law 100 and 200 firms. He previously practiced as an antitrust litigator and also has served as trial attorney in the Torts Branch of the US Department of Justice’s Federal Tort Claims Act Litigation Section.
Mr. Colón earned his JD from the University at Buffalo School of Law, where he was Note and Comment Editor of the Buffalo Law Review. He earned his BA, summa cum laude, from State University of New York College at Brockport.
A longstanding member of the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) and the Professional Development Consortium (PDC), Mr. Colón has been a featured speaker on topics related to hiring, professional development and diversity.
