Evergreen Named to DCA Live’s ‘Emerging Women Leaders in Law’

Rosa Evergreen, a partner in Arnold & Porter’s bankruptcy and restructuring group, was recognized as one of Washington DC’s leading female attorneys by DCA Live’s “Emerging Women Leaders in Law.” The list recognizes women in law in the Washington, DC region “who are emerging as leaders within their firms and the broader DC legal community.” She was one of 23 attorneys included on list for the private practice category.

Evergreen, whose practice focuses on all aspects of bankruptcy and corporate restructuring, has advised on major bankruptcy cases across the country in a range of sectors including financial services, retail, real estate, environmental, oil and gas, hospitality, and healthcare.

In addition to her work at the firm, she maintains a prominent role in the local community and does a significant amount of pro bono work. She was named the DC Bar’s Laura N. Rinaldi Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year in 2018 and chairs Arnold & Porter’s associate professional development committee and is a member of the firm’s DC hiring committee. She also serves on a number of boards, including the Arlington Arts Center, the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation, and the Chesapeake Chapter of Turnaround Management Association.
