Chris Marando Joins Arnold & Porter’s Intellectual Property & Technology Practice

Arnold & Porter announced today that Chris Marando has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology practice as counsel, resident in Washington, DC.

Mr. Marando brings 10 years of experience in patent infringement and validity disputes before US District Courts, the US International Trade Commission, the US Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He handles cases involving complex technologies such as semiconductors, medical devices, wearable fitness, mobile phone software, speech recognition software, and telecommunications. Prior to joining Arnold & Porter, Mr. Marando was in private practice.

Mr. Marando earned his JD from The George Washington University Law School, with honors, where he was a member of The George Washington Law Review and received the Chris Bartok Memorial Award in Patent Law. He earned his BS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University, cum laude.
