Life Sciences Transactions Partner Betty Yan Joins Arnold & Porter

NEW YORK, July 11, 2022—Arnold & Porter announced today the continued growth of its leading life sciences offering with the arrival of partner Betty Yan, a member of the firm’s Corporate & Finance practice. Ms. Yan has deep experience advising life sciences and technology clients, with a particular focus on transactions involving strategic alliances, joint ventures, collaborations, mergers and acquisitions, and licensing arrangements.

Based in New York and New Jersey, Ms. Yan represents life sciences and biotech clients in M&A and life sciences transactions. She assists clients in structuring strategic alliances, joint ventures, collaborations, and licensing arrangements, and provides counseling on issues that arise on a day to day basis for life sciences clients. She also works closely with clients preparing for clinical trial launches. Ms. Yan is experienced in drafting and negotiating industry-specific agreements including manufacture and supply agreements, research and development agreements, technology transfer agreements, and clinical trial agreements. Fluent in Cantonese, Ms. Yan is a former Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at JP Morgan Chase. She earned a joint JD/MBA from Fordham University.
