Peter Gioello Joins Arnold & Porter’s Environmental Practice With A Focus On ESG Matters

Arnold & Porter announced today that Peter Gioello Jr. has joined the firm’s Environmental practice as counsel, where he will be a member of the Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) working group.

Resident in New York, Mr. Gioello focuses his practice on both environmental, social and corporate governance and environmental, health and safety (EHS) risks, issues and liabilities, including in the context of complex corporate transactions. He also handles emerging ESG issues such as sustainability reporting and disclosure, impact investing, securities enforcement and shareholder litigation, ESG-related marketing, ESG litigation, ESG due diligence, environmental justice, climate change mitigation and adaptation, biodiversity, product stewardship, supply-chain audits, human rights, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), cybersecurity, consumer safety and protection, corporate citizenship and stewardship, corporate governance, animal welfare, and anti-corruption and fraud.

Mr. Gioello earned his JD from Brooklyn Law School and received his BA from Drew University, cum laude, Dean’s List.
