Kracov Honored With FDLI Distinguished Service and Leadership Award
Arnold & Porter partner and chair of the Life Sciences Industry practice Dan Kracov was recently honored with the Food and Drug Law Institute (FDLI)’s Distinguished Service and Leadership Award at FDLI’s 2024 Annual Conference. FDLI is a nonprofit membership organization that offers education, training, publications, and professional engagement opportunities in the field of food and drug law.
The FDLI Distinguished Service and Leadership Award recognizes “individuals who have made notable contributions to the food and drug law community through their leadership.” Kracov was lauded for his contributions to FDLI, including serving as Chair of the FDLI Board, and his long-term leadership of the firm’s Life Sciences practice. FDLI also highlighted Kracov’s years of experience handling some of the most consequential issues of food and drug law and policy.
Kracov has been one of the foremost Food and Drug Administration lawyers in the country for decades. He particularly focuses on assisting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and diagnostic companies, including start-up companies, trade associations, and large manufacturers, negotiate challenges relating to the development, approval, and marketing of FDA-regulated products. Kracov also regularly handles product and compliance-related government and internal investigations, the development of global corporate compliance programs, and due diligence in financings, mergers, and acquisitions. He has experience in biomedical public policy matters, including Congressional investigations and advising on FDA-related legislation. Kracov’s extensive expertise in critical regulatory matters has been widely recognized by publications like Chambers, The Legal 500, LMG Life Sciences, Best Lawyers in America, and The National Law Journal.
