In these airline bankruptcy cases, we have represented debtors, major creditors, suppliers, investors, and other parties.
Acted as lead restructuring counsel in the company's second Chapter 11 reorganization and its merger with America West Airlines.
Acted as special counsel to the debtors in successful Chapter 11 proceedings, including Section 1113 litigation and a precedent-setting appeal to the Second Circuit concerning a bankruptcy court's ability to enjoin a strike following implementation of Section 1113 relief.
Represented successful investors in Continental Airlines, and represented Continental Airlines in connection with confirmation of its Chapter 11 plan of reorganization and post-confirmation proceedings. Also represented Continental Airlines in other bankruptcy and litigation matters.
Obtained Second Circuit victory in the Delta Airlines Chapter 11 case that upheld tax indemnity claims of leveraged lease owner participants.
Advised a private equity fund in connection with potential DIP financing and equity investment in Frontier Airlines.
