National Security, Government Contracts and Regulatory Compliance Department to Present to Major Defense Industry Representatives on the DSS’s New Compliance Requirements

April 30, 2013

The National Security, Government Contracts and Regulatory Compliance Department will be presenting a webinar to major defense industry representatives on April 30 regarding the Defense Security Service’s (DSS) new compliance requirements. DSS recently released its model Affiliated Operations Plan (AOP) template. The AOP substantially expands the requirements for the processing and approval of shared administrative services, shared third-party services, shared personnel, and commercial cooperation efforts among cleared companies in the DSS Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI) mitigation program and their non-FOCI-mitigated parents and affiliates. National Security Associates Karalyn Meany and Keith Schomig will discuss the enhanced requirements, potential pitfalls, and best practices of the AOP template.
