Michael Damast focuses on the representation of investment banks, real estate opportunity funds, and other institutional lenders in the origination and securitization of first mortgage debt, mezzanine loans, bridge loans, preferred and common equity investments, and other structured finance products. He has been involved with many of the largest and most complex securitized mortgage and mezzanine financings completed in the market.

Mr. Damast routinely represents Jefferies LoanCore, LLC, The Royal Bank of Scotland, UBS, Wells Fargo, Silverpeak Real Estate Finance, Square Mile Capital, Cerberus Real Estate Capital Management, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, and other similar institutions. In connection with his long-term representation of these clients, he has been involved in some of the most complex and innovative transactions in the market covering all asset types, including, office, retail, hospitality, multi-family, industrial, and mixed-use properties.

He also has extensive experience in the representation of clients in construction financings, workouts, restructurings, foreclosures, and in the acquisition and disposition of office buildings, hotels, shopping centers, and other real estate projects.
