Khadija is an associate in the competition litigation team. She has acted on high-value and international commercial disputes, with a particular focus on complex cross-border claims. Khadija has experience of representing both claimants and defendants. She has acted for corporations, directors, shareholders, public-sector entities, insolvency practitioners, and high-net-worth individuals in a variety of different sectors. She currently represents Defendants in one of the first-class actions to be brought in the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

Before joining Arnold & Porter, Khadija spent nearly 6 years working for leading international law firms in London.

Experience

  • Shipping company in defending various claims in both the High Court and Competition Appeal Tribunal relating to the maritime car carriers cartel.
  • Morrisons in relation to damages claims in England & Wales arising out of the EU trucks cartel.
