Shay Longtain represents individuals and corporate clients in a variety of civil litigation matters in federal and state courts.

Shay graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as a Senior Editor of the Michigan Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He earned his undergraduate degree in international studies from American University. Between college and law school, he spent a year in Tromsø, Norway as a Fulbright scholar researching the law of the sea in the Arctic.
