Andrea Mauri Paricio

Andrea Mauri Paricio’s practice focuses on representing States and private clients in both investor-State and commercial arbitrations, as well as advising on public international law matters. Andrea has extensive experience in arbitration proceedings conducted under the ICSID, UNCITRAL, SCC, and ICC arbitration rules. She has also advised States and individuals in relation to proceedings conducted before a range of international courts and tribunals, including the International Court of Justice, the European Court of Human Rights, and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, as well as before national courts. Andrea has advised clients across various sectors, including energy, mining, oil and gas, and infrastructure. She has participated in adversarial proceedings conducted in English and Spanish, concerning disputes in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Andrea also regularly provides pro bono advice on public international law matters, including international humanitarian law and human rights.

Prior to joining the firm, Andreaworked as an associate at a London-based public international law firm and a Spanish law firm, where she practiced both commercial and investor-State arbitration and advised clients on public international law matters, such as international investment law, maritime border delimitation, and international human rights law. Andrea has also worked as legal counsel in the dispute management team of a multinational contractor focused on the oil and gas sector.

Andrea is fluent in English, Spanish, and Catalan, and has working knowledge of Italian.
