Paula Millar primarily focuses on the technology sector, advising a broad range of businesses on the development, commercialization, acquisition, and implementation of technology solutions. She regularly assists businesses in commercial transactions involving information technology, privacy, cybersecurity, and intellectual property. As part of her practice, she advises on issues relating to cloud computing, e-commerce, licensing, data sharing, and a wide range of emerging technologies.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Millar was an associate in the Toronto office of an international law firm. She also served as in-house legal counsel at a leading global fintech company, where she gained considerable experience in SaaS, payments and artificial intelligence. Ms. Millar draws on this prior in-house experience to bring a business-minded approach to her practice.
